영국 리즈(Leeds)에서 태어나 미술 교육을 받은 폴 잭슨은 1983년부터 종이예술가, 저자, 교사로서 종이접기 전문가로 활동하고 있다. 순수 예술로서 종이접기의 선구자 중 한 사람으로, 40권 이상의 책을 썼으며, 많은 갤러리와 박물관에서 작품을 전시했을 뿐만 아니라 획기적인 종이 접기 전시회를 기획하기도 했다. 한 장의 종이로 만드는 종이접기의 세계는 최소한의 재료로 완성하는 예술로서 이번 전시에서 종이로 접은 다양한 모습의 얼굴표정을 만들은 작품들을 선보인다.
